I had my first part time job at the Shell in Tiaro – a small town between Gympie and Maryborough. I made sandwiches, served and went out and actually pumped fuel and checked oil (yep, they were the days they were SERVICE stations).
And I cleaned the toilets.
I knew I wouldn’t do it forever but I still did it with the same passion I speak with now.
The message I would like to give young people today …
Wherever you start, even if it isn’t your dream job and you don’t love it, do it as though you do love it. Then the Universe looks down and says … “Yep, this one is on the path where dreams will be realised! Now, let’s SHOW her the way!”
